Trying to set up Bose Companion 2 Series III (S/N 060285Z60680940BE) on my Dell Desk top Windows 10. I'm using cable with headphone segmented plug on one end and red and white (RCA pin plugs on the other) Do I need a different cable? Suggestions? Jay Durham j**m@comcast.net or j**e@comcast.net

When I plug in the cable with the stereo plug into a headphone out of the computer I'm left with a white & red pin plugs on the other end but no matching place on the Bose speakers.  suggestions?

Dear Jay, It was a pleasure helping you with your Bose issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

Inquiry on connecting the Speaker to a computer

Solution Implemented :

Call customer and advised to use a Male to Male 3.5mm Jack

Connect one end to the Speaker Computer in port and the other to the computer headphone port
