May I know the exact model of your sharp tv? theres a sticker at the back of the tv and you will see the model from there.

do you see a light indicator when you turn on the tv set?
the set will not turn on or respond in any way
there should be a red standby light at the bottom bezel although the tv is not turned on but plugged in to the wall outlet.
where do I find the bottom bezel?
Heres the location of the power indicator.

I see nothing that looks that on my set. The bottom edge is just the bottom of the tv screen
A little information--I had the set on You Tube and was selecting a program when the set quit working
Do you see the Sharp logo on the bezel of the TV? The power indicator is usually below it and all sharp tv has that little red light indicator.

Issue identified : tv quit working. no picture on the screen
Solution Implemented : chat/called cx and troubleshoot the issue. No light indicator on the tv. Provided steps to reset the tv by unplugging the tv from the wall outlet and pressing the power button for 20 secs. cx followed the instruction and the tv is turning on now. We found out that the cable box has no power. Advised cx to perform the reset procedure on the cable box. cable box is still not powering on and no light indicator after the reset. told cx that the box is dead and she needs to call cox cable for replacement/repair. cx will contact cox. Answer accepted.
