Dear Judy, It was a pleasure helping you with your Sony issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

Time stuck on Sony Dream Machine.

Solution Implemented :

Call customer

Assisted in unplugging the Machine from power

Plug it back in and same tme appeared.

Check for back up battery and found one in the CD tray area.

Customer cannot remove the battery cover because it needs a phillips scre driver which she does not have and she is in a nursing home and ho one can help her.

Advised customer that the battery needs to be remove to restart the machine and it should work again.

Customer accepted and will ask someone to do it for her.

Customer also asked assistance in getting a new clock radio machine.

Assisted customer in locating the nerest bestbuy and phone number for it.

Also Gave information about ordering a clock radio from amazon since she cannot leave the nursing home.

Customer accepted the Answer bu asked for the phone upgrade to be cancelled since it was hardware problem.
