The Range Rover lettering on the bonnet and the front grill have become chipped as the chrome has come off. I have seen other cars on the road with the same problem. I took it in to Landrover Swindon and they said someone cleaning it must have used the wrong products. I would accept this if i had not seen other Evoque's with the same problem

Thank you for your response. Is this the first time this happen? I check some forum and they encounter the same issue. This normally happen if you park most of the time outside. To protect it they normally use a metal polish to protect the chrome plated  letters from the bonnet and also on the grill.

What i want to know is if this should be paid for by Range Rover - as it is obviously a fault!

If the Rover is still under warranty you can ask for the dealership for them to replace the faded or chipped off letter.

Once they replace it. Use a metal polish so it will not fade. Make sure to do it once a month.
