Please follow these steps on your Mac:

  • Restart your Mac, then immediately hold down the Option key.
  • Release the Option key when you see the Startup Manager window.
  • elect your macOS startup disk, then click the arrow or press Return.

ok I have my Mac desktop back Windows was opened by Parallels. I wish to use BootCamp instead

If you want to install Windows 10 on bootcamp. Open BootCamp Assistant App from Utilities folder inside the Applications folder. Then follow the onscreen instructions to repartition your startup disk and download related software drivers for Windows.

If you installed it successfully you can switch from Windows 10 and your MacOS by using the steps that I provided you earlier.

  • Restart your Mac, then immediately hold down the Option key
  • Release the Option key when you see the Startup Manager window.
  • Select your macOS or Windows startup disk, then click the arrow or press Return.
