Hi Bill,
I dont have the exact picture with me but the hood manual latch is located at the passenger side right up at the top past the heater vents. You have to position yourself upside down and it is probably level with the bonnet/dashboard. Very very hard to reach but m oving the vents aside a few cm will definitely helps you reached the latch. By using a screwdriver shaft you should be able to manage to pop the hood,
Let me know if this helps.
Elixir, great advice. Since I can't open the passenger door ( in the garage) I was upside down in there (NOT easy for a 74 yo fart!) but slipped my hand way up past all the fuses like you said & felt what was a cable with a little red wire loop, pulled it down--had to really pull hard on it and "click". Thanks for the awesome instruction!
