The problem started about a week ago. First it was a minor bother, but slowly then got increasingly worse
May I know the model of your iPhone? Is it a 5, 5s, 6, 7 8 or X?

Thanks for the information. Please follow these steps:
Press and hold the Home and Power button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple Logo. Once the Apple Logo appear release the 2 buttons. Wait for the iPhone to boot and when it is ready try to use it and check if it will works fine.
