Dear Ken, It was a pleasure helping you with your iPhone issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

Activation lock

Solution Implemented :

Call customer

Customer do not know what the apple Id is since it is in icloud.com, Customer has no reference at all.

Customer said it was given to him all set up.

She already called who gave it to her but cannot remember eiher.

Customer also thinks that it may have been the first owner's ID

We tried ussing customer's gmail address but it did not work.

Advised customer that we can assist with the password as long as they know what the ID is atleast.

Advised customer that they can bring it to an Apple store for a manual activation only if they have the recepit when they purchase it as a proof.
