When using the Sony TV, You will have to use the sony remote and press Input or source to select the DVD from the list correct?

This should get you the DVD pitcure and sound?

Dear Harold, It was a pleasure helping you with your Sony issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

Assistance in connecting the DVD to the TV

Solution Implemented :

Call customer

Checked the connection and found  he is connecting the DVD to the Cox Cable box.

Advised customer to use the RCA connector Red White Yellow at the back of the TV and plug it into the AV connector at the back of the TV via a 3.5mm adapter.
