I would suggest perform a cleaning at least three times one after another.
then test it.
It is possible that the printhead is clogged right now. Reason why the printer does not show an error but the ink does not passthru the printhead.
Perform manual cleaning thru Settings > Tools Printhead cleaning.
Do this 3 times one after another.
then test printing again.

Issue identified :
Printer not printing black
Solution Implemented :
Call customer and assisted in performing printer cleaning three times thru the tools section of the printer. - Same result - Black not printing but colors are working ok
Advised customer on how to clean the printhead manually by using paper towel and alcohol solution to drop on the printhead nozzle.
Advised customer to perform the step few times and longer period. And if the result will be the same - His best option is buy a new printer since repair of printhead may cost him close to buying a new model
