Dear Mr Byron. I have been posting on facebook since 2015. I do daily music posts which are just targeted at a few of my friends who are interested in them. Since November most of these posts have been marked up by facebook admin as spam. I have requested a review and most have been upheld and the post restored. There are still about 10 though that have been spammed with no obvious reason. The content has been mainstream you tube posts. As this has happened around 60 times now I am wondering why ? I do leave the privacy setting open to the public. However am considering whether to change it to friends only. If someone is reporting my posts as spam would that be the reason why they are being automatically spammed ? It is obvious that facebook are not looking at them properly in advance. They only seem to be looking at them in hindsight. Furthermore I always get an automated reply . Why is it that I cannot get an individual answer to a question on facebook ? Please advise me. My profile on facebook is under Stephen Charles Barnes. It is genuine. I am genuine. Sincerely. S C Barnes.

Hi Stephen ,

Spam NOT only  involves contacting people with unwanted content or requests or sending bulk messages to others BUT  also excessively posting links such as videos and images. Most of the videos that you're sharing came from Youtube and  I don't see any problem with that in terms of copyright issues  but if someone in your friends list  will be reporting your account as a spammer then yyour accunt will be limited  and flagged. Setting your account into "friends only " instead of "public"  can help prevent spam reports outisde of your circle  but if the person who will report you is one of your friends in Facebook then it will not make any sense  in changing the settings,. I would recommend  that if you're actively posting and sharing video links it is better let your friends know  that if they don't like getting any updates (video or images from you in their news feed they always have the option to unfollow  future your posts.

Also, another option for you is to create a facebook page (fan page) so that  anyone in your  friends list  who really like be updated regularly of  music videos  can start following the page which will also avoid getting tagged as spammer in the future. Aside from that you'll be sure that only the  people who liked the page can recieve  updates and posts.

Let me know if you have anymore questions . I'll be standing by.

"Hello I sent a question and paid for it to your website earlier this year. However I have never received a reply. This was to do with contacting and posting to facebook. The charge on my account was EXPERTHELP.COM ***-***-**** TX 75093 USA I do now need some advice though please in lieu of not getting an answer to my question a few months ago. I have had trouble with my computer and have had a system clean up from a new application. This seems to have restored my computer. However I cannot access one of my email accounts or facebook. I have been getting sent a 6 digit log in code sent to my mobile phone in order to sign into facebook. This stopped today though after the computer clean up. This means I am now locked out of facebook. They seem to hide behind automation. Is there any correct email or phone number available for me to speak to someone from facebook in order to unlock my fb account ? Please advise. Thanks. Stephen Barnes."

Hi Stephen,

Hello Byron. Thank you for your response which is helpful to know. I did not see this originally. Since I asked the question I have been posting less and restricted the distribution to friends only. This has cut down on the number of posts being spammed, although a few still have been marked this way.  Recently I had problems with my computer running slowly and not being able to download applications and films from the internet. I installed a pro cleaner software application on my PC via a memory stick. This has now cleaned and fixed the Windows 10 errors and malware on my PC and it is running normally again.  However I suspect the cleaner has removed passwords and cookies to some sites. I use to get a text from facebook whenever I logged in with a 6 digit security code to enter. This has stopped since the clean up a few days ago. Therefore I cannot access my profile with no code and am locked out. Therefore please advise what I should do to regain access into my acount. My email address to the fb account is : b**y@hotmail.co.uk

Thanks.
