I have a 5 year old Yorkie that weighs 7 lbs. He was digging in his bed and all of a sudden whimpered, sat down and started shaking. Today he randomly shakes, doesn't always walk on both front leg but alternates them. Sometimes when he jumps down, runs or gets picked up he will yelp and shake. We've check his nails, paws, moved his legs and nothing sees wrong. Suggestions on what to do? Can I give him any type of ibuprophen or something in case its muscle stain? IF so, what kind and how much?

Hello. I would not recommend any ibuprofen, tylenol, etc. as those drugs can be very toxic to animals. If he is having alternating front leg lameness, as well as the shaking and yelping when jumping/being picked up, he sounds like he may have a back or neck injury. Unfortunately back and neck injuries can become serious quickly, so it would be best for him to be checked out by the vet. If it is a back or neck injury, they will likely recommend strict cage rest as well as prescribe an animal appropriate anti-inflammatory medication, a pain medication, and possibly a muscle relaxer. Some pets can have problems with the discs in their spine (similar to a "slipped disc" in people). If it goes untreated, in worst cases it can cause paralysis. I would give your vet a call to make an appointment as soon as you're able. In the meantime, try to keep him calm and confined as possible- no running, jumping, or playing, to hopefully prevent further injury.

He could get a neck or back injury from digging in his bed?  Is this a common problem?

If it is that type of injury, most of the time it is from them jumping off of furniture. Him digging in the bed could have aggravated it
