Is the old mac running on OS High Sierra?
Please let me know by typing a response at the top and clicking on send response
Have you tried using Migration Assistant?
It can transfer any data on the backup for your old MacBook onto your current Mac. Open Migration Assistant, which is found in /Applications/Utilities, then click Continue.
Choose to transfer data "From a Mac, Time Machine backup or startup disk". You'll be guided through the process of migrating your data from your old MacBook onto your current Mac.
I have tried.... repeatedlly, to get into Migration.... It will NOT accept my PW. I am encounting this over and over again with this computer. Log in is a long and tedious process. Old mac was .... maybe... running High Sierra. She would not upgrade much in the last year.
Is it OK if we do a screen sharing to the old mac? I will try to check and see whats wrong.
Also, If you can provide me your good contact number for me to call you.
