Hi 

It's a Dell desktop computer with Windows 10 . Avg virus protection software called a sound driver system

BTW, what exactly the model of Dell desktop that you got there. Check the sticker on the side or at the back to see the model.

Dear Jonas, It was a pleasure helping you with your Tech  issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : cx having problem with the  sound on his computer
Solution Implemented : called cx and accessed his computer. cx is using an online tutorial training and there is a page that he cant hear a sound. Told cx that the problem is the browser since the browser that he is using (firefox) cannot adopt to the interactive page that he is trying to access. Told cx to use google chrome to access that page that he is having problem. We tried it and he was able now to hear the sound. cx can record also his voice using the Audacity software. provided cx steps on how to be able to record voice by going to the sound settings of the computer. cx can now record voice using the audacity software. cx has no furrher questions. problme solved.
