I have a Samsung 8 55" TV. I bought a Sonos system for surround sound. For some reason, when I try to play the music separately and leave the TV picture on, the audio switches back to the TV after about two minutes regardless of what I do. Is there a setting I can change that will allow the Sonos to play?

ok i have the sound bar and two of the surround sound sound speakers

So you said when you try to play music on the Sonos and not the TV audio, The TV Audio will switch back?

Yes.  It plays for about two minutes, then just stops.  On the Sonos App, I can watch it switch back.

On my iPhone. I do have the Sonos App for the TV.  But, I can only see this default wavy background on the TV.  I want to watch ArtCast, an App I have downloaded for the Roku and play the Sonos.  I don't know why that should be such a problem.  It was working when I originally installed it.  Now, it doesnt.

Try going into the room settings for the play base and check if the TV autoplay is enabled.

found it.  yes it is on

If that is on if the Sonos system detcted the TV is on it will switch back to it.

Turning it off will leave it manual for you to manually switch to tv or the music app.

disable it and test it out and be sure to let me know what happen.

Advised customer to go to room settings > Play base location and disable the TV autoplay
