I sent a certified letter to the IRS id #555-76-4034 we were scammed by a company called Hurricane Tax, who never filed our 2017 taxes. which we now have a lien against us, and put us into non collectable status. In the certified letter shows we did everything we were supposed to We are desperately trying to get the lean off. Cheryl Humbard

Basically what it instructing you to do is

If you received a notice or letter from the IRS
Complete Form 14157-A, Tax Return Preparer Fraud or Misconduct Affidavitand Form 14157, Complaint: Tax Return Preparer. Mail them with all supporting documentation and a copy of the notice or letter to the address contained in that notice or letter.

 

If you did not receive a notice or letter from the IRS
Complete Form 14157-A, Tax Return Preparer Fraud or Misconduct Affidavitand Form 14157, Complaint: Tax Return Preparer. Mail them with all supporting documentation to the address where you would normally mail your Form 1040.

When you say you have a lien against your properties who is the lien from​,​ is it the IRS.  if this is so then you would have received many written notices from the IRS stating that you owe taxes and you should pay them as soon as possible​,​ way before the​ irs​ ​put a lien on your property. Was the notice written or did you receive a phone call stating that you owe money to the IRS.​ If it was a phone call it was probably a scam​​. ​  Please provide me with the phone number and the name of the person you are to contact to settle the lean.​ I will do my best   to determine whether or not  the contact  is from the IRS.  Please get back to me as soon as possible.
