Is it Activation lock that your ipad is showing?
No, it is just a regular reminder to update my old password.

Apple Server Says that email is not an apple ID
Yes, I changed my Apple ID to my new email address and password, but it has not been reflected in my ipad settings
Try using the new password fo the old ID and see if it works.
I have tried thi and it does not work.
Have you tried restarting the ipad.
Hold the power button until it says slide to power off. Slide it
then power it back on and see if the new ID will reflect.
I have done this, but it has still come up with the old user name and a request for a password.
I tried the new password but it says verification failed, an unknown error occurred.
If the old email is not accessible now.
Then the iPad has to be restore to factory defaults and has to be re set up again with the new ID and password.
Does this mean that I will lose all my data?
If your ipad is backed up to the cloud, You'll have the data back when setting it bup again with the Apple Id.
Does this include kindle books?
Your kindle books are accessed from the Kindle app right?
You will have to redownload the kindle app and log back in to it.

No, I am using my laptop, but my Ipad is available.
Try this first.
Go to settings > General > Scroll down to reset > Erase all conten and settings.
Let me know if you were able to reset.
I have done the reset but it wil take some time to re-install ann the details. I am stuck on my server details at present.

Ok When it asked you for an Apple ID. Use your new Id and password an that should register it to the settings.
It will ask you about data > Choose restore from icloud back up.

ok for passcode area you can shoose passcode options and do not use passcode.
I am on the setting up phase.
It says go to one of your other devices to approve this Ipad. How do I do this?

check your iphone and see if the approval request is there.
No there is no approval request shown on this or on my mobile.
go to your iphone.
Settings > see your on name on top of it and see if it have the new id on it?
I cannot see my name in settings but it is in the email inbox heading.
Can you gind 2 factor authentication in setting in your iphone.
Try going to your iphone > icloud > 2 factor authenication and see if you can turn it off.
I cannot find an app fo iCloud on my phone. Where should I look?
On you iphone > Setttings > icloud

ok now on the approve screen on the ipad choose cant aprove then choose to approve later

aftercannot approve it moves directly into reset keychain. There is no delay offered.
ok go ahead with resetting the keychain.
OK I am into backups but the system is asking for the old password for the old email and will not respond to the new one.
What's the status now?
Hi, It has just finished restoring and is now doing the apple upload.
It has completed restoring but it is still showing interalpha as the username and asking for the old password.
