I need the ID & password for upgrading.

I changed it on January 19 and made a note...

When I try to get a new one on lne I get the runaround.

On my MacBook Air

I go to the page https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin and it accepts my e-mail address as the ID but the apssword is incorrect.

Dear Priestly, It was a pleasure helping you with your Apple issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

Cannot change Apple Idpassword
Solution Implemented :

Call customer / Remote Access

Assisted customer in requesting for account recovery thru iforgot.apple.com

Account recovery prompted 24 hours to successfully resetting the password.

Call customer again and successfully changed the password for his apple ID - Issue resolved

Assisted customer to his other computer about update problem.

Not updating.

The problem was the version of the imac is too old and will not find a newer version.

Customer decided to just get a new machine.

Answer accepted
