My IPhone 8 has a non responsive touch screen. I have done the soft reboot where you touch volume up the volume down and then hold the side button until the apple logo appears. I have done that several times and the touch screen is still unresponsive. What else can I do the get my IPhone 8 open?

It has done it maybe four times in the past but I have always brought it back to life by the soft reboot.  I had installed the new upgrade last night and when i went to open my phone this morning it was froze

No  it is plugged into my computer right now because i was going to try the ITunes connection and then do the reboot.  Do you want me to plug it into wall charger?

Yes. connect the iphone to the wall .Then  Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Then press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.

Bryon,  I just tried it again after it had been connected to ITunes and its unlocked!!  Thank you for your help!  Not sure what is up with this phone of mine.

Ifd you wil encounter this problem most of the trime . Im would recommend you have it check in the Apple Store.  for a logic board problem
