I do not have any devices, except mouse and keyboard, connected to PC.

OK. Lets do  a hard reset on the computer. Turn off the computer by pressing the power button then unplug the power cord of the computer from the wall outlet. Press and hold the power button of the computer for 20 secs (with the power cord unplugged). Plug in the power cord back after pressing the power button for 20 secs then press the power button again to turn it on.

Let me know the result.

Done.  Only getting "lenovo" name on monitor.  Does nothing else.

Seems like that the Harddrive is already defective on that computer. Try to go to the BIOS screen of the computer by turning the off then wait for 10 secs then turn it back on then keep on tapping F1 key and wait for the computer to go to the BIOS screen.

Dear Steve, It was a pleasure helping you with your Lenovo issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : cx getting error "No bootable partition in table"
Solution Implemented : called cx and provided steps on how to go to the bios of the computer to check if the harddrive is present by pressing F1 key during boot up. We weere able to see the harddrive in the BIOS menu. Told cx that the problem is the operating system bootable partition got corrupted. told cx that he needs to reinstall the windows operating system using the recovery disc. cx cant remember where is the recovery disc. told cx that he can order the disc from lenovo or he can buy an operating system disc at officemax or office depot. cx will have to backup the computer first before reinstalling the OS. no further questions. Answer accepted.
