I have an Epson ET-2750 printer. My computer said there was a update so I tried to do it and at the end it said the update failed. From that point on my printer LCD screen went black with the message "printer mode" written on it. I cant get it working.

Hi Nancy

Thank you for waiting.

Have you tried restarting the printed by unplugging from the wall?

Thanks,

Ferdinand

Yes, and I have also gone to epson.com, entered by model, and run the downloads but at the end it still says "update failed".

Ok First we are not sure if the printer firmare has is already failing.

We'll try to check any response from the printer first.

When you try pressing any buttons on the printer panel, Is there any changes on the screen?

You can try pressing up down left right / OK or try pressing everybutton on the panel.

Let me know if there is an changes or response from the screen.

The LCD screen, which is now solid black, says "printer mode" at the top.  So if I push OK it leaves "printer mode" at the top, it adds "Set Jig" in the middle and "push (OK) BT" at the bottom.  So if I push OK again it goes back to the 1st screen that says only "printer mode".  And if I try to print anything from my computer at this point, it will print only the first page and the print is foggy.
