all of a sudden, I no longer get text msg notifications

Are you referring to the regular text to number message?

ok For now, Can you clear the message indicator.

Make sure there is no number on the icon.

That way we can try.

Are we chatting thru the same phone?

Can you tell me what iphone version that is?

Have you gone to the Settings > notofications > Messages Make sure all are ON?

Do you know what ios software version you have on the phone?

Should be under settings General about

Ok back in setting find Do not disturb make sure it is off.

possibly your are just missing them when it notified.

You can change the notification sound under notification setting to a more longer sound.

No Notification on new messages "SMS"

Solution Implemented :

Advised customer in checking:

Settings > Notification > All ON

Settings > Do not disturbed > OFF

Tested Notification by sending customer SMS messages
