My cat ate the plastic off a poly mailer just wondering if this is an emergency or can he pass it?

He may be able to pass it depending on how big it is. It is hard to tell at this point. Watch for any signs of vomiting, diarrhea, inappetance, decrease in water consumption, abdominal pain, or trouble defecating. If you notice any of these signs I would take him to the vet right away.
