Where do I find the serial number for my MacMini ? I am having g an issue with MyPassport (backups have stopped)

• On Mac mini models manufactured before 2010, the serial number can be easily found on a label on the edge of the device’s underside, between bar codes.
• On Mac mini models manufactured from 2010, the serial number will appears on the underside of the computer. You will find it near the regulatory marking

Dear Carla, It was a pleasure helping you with your Mac issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : cx wants to know where is the serial number of the macmini located
Solution Implemented : called cx and showed where to find the serial number (screen shot below). cx said that her macmini is not backing up on her mypassport drive. Told cx that the drive is already full that is why its not making any backup. told cx to purchase an external harddrive and transfer all data from mypassport to the external drive to free up some space so that the macmini will start backing up files to mypassport. cx has not further questions. answer accepted.
