Hi Anne,

Thank you for waiting!

It seems that "do more with your voice' screen" is part of the initial set up after the restore.

There is a button on the lower right corner of it saying Accept.

Does that button not respond when you click on it?

Customer

no

Ok Lets try performing a full restart first.

HOLD the ON / OFF button on your computer until it shut off and turn it back on again.

Let me know how that will go thru the set up.

Posted
Customer

unfortunately not!

This looks that the touch problem remains since you can't click on the lower area of the screen.

Is it possible that you can borrow a mouse at least from another computer.

This will greatly isolate this problem that you are having.

a USB mouse or a USB keyboard will do

it seems a hardware issue BEcause you just did a factory restore which should fix Software or Settings conflict but still the problem remains.

May I ask where you bought it?

Posted
Customer

c/ompany called 'backmarket' which operates in europe, and i don't know where else ..... tablet was brand new ! do you think it's irredeemable / should i ask for my money back?

Posted

If possible I strongly Suggest YES, Either have it replaced or refunded.

The touch functionality on the LCD is not working as it should.
