This may very well corrupt the System but Im afraid we have no choice but to try and reboot Since it has been so long that it froze up. It should not have took that long.

Hold the ON and off button on the computer Just until everything shuts off. Then let go of the power button and let me know.

Dear Sandy, It was a pleasure helping you with your HP issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

Stuck in loading screen while doing upgdate.

Solution Implemented :

Call customer / No Device to rremote in to

Assisted customer in performing power drain.

After the power drain the computer loaded fine

Tested apps - OK

Issue resolved
