Ok. Inorder to adjust the volume so that you can hear the person on the other end. During the phone call, press the volume up button on the right side to adjust the speaker volume.
Try to call one of your friend and while you are talking on the phone press the volume up button to adjust the speaker volume.

Dear Karen, It was a pleasure helping you with your panasonic issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : cx one handset is not working. callers cant hear her
Solution Implemented : called cx and perform a test on the defective handset. i advised her to press the volume up button while on the call and see if that will fix the issue. no go. we found out that the problem is the microphone of the handset since the other handset is working fine. Told cx that the volume control is for the speaker only and not for the mic. told cx that unit is defective and needs to be replaced. Answer accepted.
If issue resurfaces in next 30 days, come back to this Question page and let me know. If you are unable to find your way back to this Question page, please contact our customer support either by email (s**t@experthelp.com) OR call us at ***-***-****
