dial a number, press talk, (any number mobile or fixed line) and get busy tone. cannot connect to my mobile only next to phone and base station?

May I know the exact model of the phone system? You can locate the model at the bottom of the base station. 

Ok. Can you try to reset the phone system first by uplugging the power adapter of the base station from the wall outlet then remove the battery of the handset for 2 mins. Put everything back after 2 mins then test the issue again. 

no need to do that on the other handsets. May i know the phone number that you are havong problems with?

what tone are you hearing? Is that the normal dial tone?

seems like that the problem is the line itself and not the uniden phone. Whenever I dial your phone number, it will just ring for 3-4 times and will get a fast busy tone. May I know who is your phone service provider? 

Ok. When you press the talk button on the handset and start dialling the number that you want to call, does the dial tone disappear the moment that you enter the first digit of the number that you are going to call? 

Ok. after you finished entering the number that you are going to call, usually it will take seconds then that should connect you to the phone number that you are calling. May i know what happen on your end when you finished entering the number?

Try to dial your cellphone number or a friends number and see if you can connect.

Alright. Seems like that the problem is the line itself. it will not allow you to make outgoing calls or incoming calls although you are getting a dial tone on your phone. This usually a problem with the phone provider. All you need to to is to contact your phone provider and provide your phone number and tell them the issue that you cannot make outgoing and receive incoming calls althoug you have a dialtone. What they will do is that they will refresh your line on their system and that should fix the problem.
