Samsung TV Model UA40F5500 version HX01 The clock is on auto & is 2 hrs too fast. It records o.k. because the program guide has the time at the top all 2hrs advanced also. Strange …. my dvd seems to know the correct time because it records o.k. How can I fix it.

You can find it via ""Menu > Support > Contact Samsung"" using TV's remote or you can locate it on the rear panel of the TV."

 Please go to Menu > Support > Self Diagnosis > Reset and enter the 4 digit pin. The default pin is 0000.

After you do this, the TV will restart automatically then it will ask you to set the initial settings if you're able to reset it.

Then after your tv restarts, just go through the setup process as if the tv were brand new and see if this fixes the problem.

Dear Sam, It was a pleasure helping you with your Appliance issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.


Issue identified : Customer's smart tv clock was not correctly syncd with local time.

 

Solution Implemented : I sent replies on how to reset the tv and now the local time is displaying corretly.
