I sell insurance, and use may online web applications which require a signature. But when I try to write in the box of the online application, it just moves the screen around and doesn't capture the image. I have to hold down the left mouse button and use the touch pad to sign. This is akward and an issue with many of my clients. I thought with a touch screen I can make marks on the screen, not just navigate.

Thank you for the update.

Is the online from a pdf?

can you share here a link of the form for signing so I can check?

Not a pdf. Website form. Simply how do I make a mark on the screen?

It really depends on the scripting of that website form that you are talking about.

But Generally speaking - touchscreen functions only as a counterpart of a mouse or touchpad. It does not come along with special features.

Just like what you did.

I believe you can hold the left click on your mouse on that signbox and use the touchscreen instead of the touchpad.

If the form you are referring to is for public view. you can post a link here so I can check it for you.

If I wanted to make a mark in this box I am typing in, how would I do that?

Again it depends on that text box scripting.

some boxes will not accept freeform inputs.

Just like HERE where you type your response to me. It can accept unloading images but never a free hand markings.
