Hi Claire,
May I know your email provider? Could you provide more information as well when you say "host change"

I used a local person to host my website and email. The host was a company name I don't remember. He contacted me and told me to redirect my servers to siteground.com. I tried to establish my own account with siteground but was not successful so I went with GoDaddy as my current domain and email host.
The person who was hosting my email and website had to change hosts and when his contract expired he contacted me to let me know that he was changing the host to siteground.
alright. So GoDaddy is now the one hosting your domain and email. Right?
Yes
ok. give me one moment.
have you checked with GoDaddy if your email is already up in there server?
all my old email? Or would it only be the email since I switched to them?
Based on my findings, your domain is still connected to Oracle America and not to GoDaddy. See screenshot below.
Yeah....I'm working on that right now. GoDaddy did not tell me they needed an authcode. Will the historical emails populate when all is moved over?
Yes once the domain is transferred to GoDaddy. Everything single item should all be transferred to the new Domain host.
NOTES:
-contacted cx and told her that her domain is still connected to Oracle America
-GoDaddy needs an authorization code for them to get all the information of her domain and transfer it to godaddy's domain
-provided cx phone number of oracle america to get the code and after that she will call godaddy and go from there.
-cx will get back to us for the result.
