I have a Facebook Business Page that was created by one of my employees using his own personal email and Facebook account. I would like to transfer that business page over to my Facebook Business Manager site. After I made the request to add the page, it said the "Request is Pending", but my employee never received the request and/or does not know where to find and approve it.

Hi Jennifer,

Ask your employee to add you as an Admin to the business page so that you can add that page to your Facebook Business Manager site. 

You can send me a reply by entering your message in the box at the top then hit the send response button to send.

Once you are given Admin rights to the page, here's waht you do next.

To add a Page to your Business Manager:

  1. Go to Business Settings.
  2. Below Accounts, click Pages.
  3. Click + Add.
  4. Select Add a Page.
  5. Enter the Facebook Page name or URL.

I did all that. It says that the request is pending confirmation

But my employee has not received a confirmation notice. Also, if I log onto the page, I do not see any notices or confirmations either.

The notification should be sent to your employee's personal facebook accout notification box not in the facebook business page account.

Also, it's kind of strange that the Page Owner is the name of the business. It doesn't show him as owning the account.

When you added the page to the business manage site, did you choose "Claim a Page" option?

Claim a page option should be selected and since you are already an admin of the page, you will be able to automatically add that page to the business manager. No need for confirmation. See video below.

The option is to "Add a Page" for a Business Page I already own. When I "Add a Page", it asks me to type in the Facebook Page name. When I do that, it says "Your Business Manager already has an active request on this page. You'll see a notification if your request is accepted."

Can you cancel that request and then try adding the page again and select claim a page this time.

Also, it's strange that the "Page Owner" is the page itself...it doesn't show it as belonging to my employee's personal Facebook account.

Where do you see "claim a page"? My choices are "Add a Page", "Ad Account" and "People"

hmmm.. may that is the reason why he is not getting the notification. You might added a different page. Did you get the URL of the page from your employee just to make sure you are adding the correct page.

I watched it, but it was created in 2015 and doesn't match how Facebook Business Manager looks or works. The options are there, but the choices are to "Add a Page" that was created by someone else for you business. I deleted the previous request and created a new request to add the page. I again got a message that says, "A confirmation request has been sent to the owner"
