 Are you able to check the Hard drive on your Unit? If yes please check the connections from your Hard drive and make sure it is properly connected to the Units board. Make sure to turn off the unit first before doing this. After properly checking the connections are firm, restart the unit and check if the Hard drive is detected this time.

The hard drive is inside the unit since this is an internal SATA HDD

Do you have experience opening the unit? If you do, check the connection from the drive and the unit and make sure it is firmly attached. Please make sure if the unit is still under warranty since opening it might void out the manufacturers warranty. Please let me know what happens after checking the drive connection.

The hardrive IS friend and I replaced the Purple drive with same manufacturer but bigger (from 2TB to 4TB). The problem is we can't find the default Admin login and password to setup the parameters with iPolis. Samsung has not been helpful.

Hi Charles - The error that came up was "Wrong Password Info ... Password is not match." And an "OK" button.
ALSO my tech guy had looked online and somewhere he said it referenced a "remote control"? I don't think I ever saw a remote with the SDR-C74300 model. There is no reference to it in the manual??

If you reset the unit to facotry settings, usually the default admin and password would work?
