It is ok not to.

technically speaking that password has be debunked already but if you are using it for other stuff it would be fine not to.

To true to your question.

Since the Facebook link expired already, the hacker already established security with your account, making it look like the both of us are hacking it now.

Your last resort will be to file a request on Facebook thru this link

https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/ ***-***-**** 83890

giving them all info about the problem and sending a copy of your ID priving it is really yours requesting to regain access.

Response time on that link is very poor and may take weeks to none.

Give it few weeks wait for FB response thru your email and if not.

I would suggest Making a nother account and use that new account to report the old account as hacked so FB can take it down.

Also change your email password as it may have been the first to be hacked to get access to your FB account.

those respond i have already try, but if i do your way, my contact with friends and all the memories will be finished. It's an 10 years account so i have alot memories in it. Is there any way to contact their helpcenter? since i think they can look and change my facebook account back to original email right ?

I'm really sorry but there is none.

The help center is you talking to other people who also have the same problem.

Apparently tha hacker proved to facebook its you either by have access to one of your device or access to your email.

Once that is done, It more likely to be recovered. Reporting it as hacked it will only be to terminate the account.

The link I gave you is the last link available where you can send facebook log in issue request and send them a photo as a proof.

i have a question that i entered the old password and the facebook confirm that was the old one, Why there is no way to reverse the email by giving the proof. i also can ask my friend on the friend list to help identify it was me

When you do the recovery did you get this prompt?

how can i go to that ? do you have that link?

No This only pops out if you have set it up before when your account is still with you.

Thats why facebook will less likly to respond to recovery requests because they have let the system verify everything now.

Log in security / security follow ups / Recovery security/

If these were not met and the account was hacked, unfortunately it will be impossible to retrieve it.

but that's unlogical right? since my facebook hot hacked then the hacker can cancel the trusted contact and change anything he wanted, so that mean when i lost password i can lost a whole security?

That is right,

Exactly what I said a while ago.

When you get a message from Facebook that your account is being hacked or being changed, you have a small amount of time to counter it or the hacker can completely obtain the account and made it look that he's the real owner.

This is actually originated a hack either on your phone or email that's why the Facebook was exposed And when the account is fully compromised, it can be recovered thru Facebook recovery process.

It is a flaw that hackers are taking advantage and until today, I have encountered this issue with a lot of people still finding a way to recover to no avail.

The hack has no other purpose but to use your account in bad things. so better if you get it taken down instead.

Use that link I sent you send a request at least 2x a week andsee if a response will be made, if non, Better to start a new one to report the old one as hack and it will be taken down.
