I was chatting with a girl on Hangout (Gena) send some not so flattering pics. a couple of hours later I get a essage from her stating she found me onfacebook. has my wifes name and is threatenng to send her copies of the images and messages. Unless I pay 1000 in amazon gift cards.. I know its a scam, really not sure what to do
Technically Just disable you Hangout account. The person will stop and will move on to his target.
At the same time diasable your Facebook Account.
I updated my privacy settings on facebook to only allow my friends to see anything is that sufficient? How do I know just blocking this person and disabling hangout will stop this.. How do I know they wont send info to my family?

Advised customer to Shutdown the google Accounts and Facebook temporarily at least a month.
