Sequoia 225,000 After a stop on dry pavement, the vehicle does not accelerate as quickly as it should. The traction control light flashes then the vehicle lurches forward catching up to the throttle position once the sensor warning light clears (after a few seconds). Aomwetimes when in 4th hear at 55mph then drops to 40 mph no throttle. Dry road going straight.

This sounds like the (PCM) power control module isnot working properly.  Please also go to autozone and have your alternator and battery tested to rule out those items as well.

Does it matter that the front tires are 265/70/17 and the rear are 265/65/17?

also I am getting a charcoal canister fail when this happens I get the vac and trac off light along with the check engine. When this happens I have no issues with the slip monitor

Tire size does not matter.   PLease check around for a cansiter vacuum leak or any vaccum leak around the engine.

Simone said it may be the yaw sensor. If it is the PCM how do I know which one is for my vehicle they all have different part numbers. I have a 2005 sequoia limited 2wd. It doesn't have the DVD player or the air lift.

The auto parts store should be able to find it by the make and model and year of your vehicle

If you go to AutoZone just tell them the year make and model and that is two wheel drive and they should be able to find it

For you by that part though I would get your battery and alternator just make sure that it's charging 13.8 volts or 14 volts

That way you can rule out anything to do with charging system on a vehicle
