I've tried all the suggestions for removing the flashing VM light and it goes away but comes back after several hours. I've disconnected the cables and reconnected, replaced the battery and still have the issue. I've confirmed with my carrier (Comcast) that I do not have VM service with them. Any further suggestion as I've tried everything in previous posts.

Try this pocedure. With the phone in standby, open the menu and select Global Setup; select VMWI Reset, then select Yes.

Let me know if this helps.

Unfortunately I do not have VMWI reset under Global Setup

couldyou please provide me the exact model of the uniden phone system. There is a sticker at the bottom ofthe base station where the model is located. It should say something like DECT 8355 or XDECT 8315 something like that.

All I'm finding is DECT6.0

Hmmm... can you try to test your phone line if you have voice mail activated. Call you landline using your cellphone and let it ring like 5-6 times and see if the voice mail will gonna answer your call.

Also, If you see FIND button onthe base station. Press and hold it for 5-10secs until you hear a beeping sound. That should turn off the blinking light as well.

In my original post I mentioned that I had already checked with my land line carrier and I do not have VM set up with them.  Thanks anyway but it appears you are not able to help me with my issue.

I completely understand that. We just want to double check it thoroughlyby doing the test. Were you able to perform the test that i mentioned below? Were you able to see the FIND button on the base station?

I did call my landland with my cell as you suggested and you were correct, my answering machine does not pick up and my personal message is not there.  I do believe this is a Comcast issue and I will have to exchange my Comcast box.  Thank you for your time
