Hello Mike
Hope everything is well. Yes it will fit a 2017 Nissan NV3500. Please see the chart below
2017–present | Nissan NV2500 HD | 375 hp (280 kW) | 53.5 kg⋅m (525 N⋅m; 387 lbf⋅ft) |
2017–present | Nissan NV3500 HD | 375 hp (280 kW) | 53.5 kg⋅m (525 N⋅m; 387 lbf⋅ft) |
2017–present | Nissan NV Passenger | 375 hp (280 kW) | 53.5 kg⋅m (525 N⋅m; 387 lbf⋅ft) |
Hope this helps. Is there anything else I can add? I'll be standing by for your response.
Thank you
Relly
Will there be modifications that need to be made to the Titan engine to be installed in the NV3500? I am trying to buy a used engine for a 2017 NV3500 but there are none available. There are Titan engines available, the VK56VD, but the auto parts matching tool on eBay says it won't work even though both vehicles use the VK56VD engine.
The Titan uses vk56 vd as well
2017–present | Nissan Titan | 400 hp (298 kW) | 57.1 kg⋅m (560 N⋅m; 413 lbf⋅ft) |
But as you can see it has has 400hp while the NV3500 has 375hp. I suggest that you get the engine with the same specs. It's possible that you can use that Titan engine but you will need to get a Titan ECU as well.
Anything I can add Mike?
Are the ECMs interchangeable between the Titan and NV3500 or will it require reprogramming? I am still looking for an engine that was pulled from a 2017 NV3500 but hard to find. May have to use one from a Titan as a last resort if ECMs are interchangeable.
The Titan and NV3500 are much alike. It may and may not require programming Mike if there are no fault codes
Any yard near you which may have NV3500 engine?
There is a yard near me that has a 2016 NV3500, but that is a different model engine than my 2017.
Oh that is not compatible on yours. Your option will be that Titan or you search for a 2017 Mike. Maybe there still some out there
Anymore I can add Mike?
