First and foremost, change your Facebook password right away. If that person copied your profile, report that profile copying you. Do you know how to do that?
I did it but will do it again
I changed my password
Hi Scott,
Thanks for helping are you available?
Hi Scott,
Now I can't change my password, it's telling me that my old password is incorrect.
This is a mess. Are you there or do we need to set up a meeting
Thanks
Okay, apparently you're hacked. Sorry I was distracted by other things. Back to you now. =)
Log out.
to start the process of reclaiming your account.
Thanks. Already started that. Had an email back from Facebook that didn't get it. So I sent them a screenshot of the message I supposedly sent. They are working on it.
Oh great.
When I search my name on Facebook, 3 accounts come up. Two are really me. the other has some of my friends but a different DOB. I can't delete it. When I try, it takes me to my regular account
They all seem linked
Go to the third one (fake profile)... click on their profile.. then look for "..." Click Report, and then choose Pretending to be me or someone else, then choose you. Facebook will then shut the account down and require verificiation.
Thanks! I did it. Lets hope it works.
I wonder if they can tell if messages were sent from that account
They can. Any messages sent from that fake account will disappear and shown as "Message Unavailable".
I have to leave to prepare for our NYE party which starts in about 3 hours and half. Have to cook, find the games I need to bring, etc. and pick up some people. You have a good NYE party if youre having one tonight, or going to. We will continue this conversation tomorrow. Ok? Happy New Year! =)
Thanks. Have a good New year !

What do I have to do?

I just looked. Facebook took down the bogus site with my name Stephen that was probably sending messages. That's great. But there is a new site with my name Steve, which I use often. It's connected to my real sites. There is no info on that site. I need to delete that one too.
Hey Steve, we regret the wait. An Expert will contact you within 24 hours to offer continued assistance. Thank you for your patience.
