I have a BMW e91 from 2007, it sometimes decides to turn the hazard blinker lights on even with and without ignition. I have tried switching the blinker stick (which removed it for maybe 2 weeks), checking the relay for moisture but nothing has worked.

Any ideas what to do, im lost?

Mathias! Thank you for choosing ExpertHelp.com. Lets try some basic troubleshooting steps. Can you please try to remove the negative connector on your battery for 15 mins. Then after that connect it back again and then start the engine and let it run for another 15 mins. Then check if the same issue will still occurs.

I have tried removing the negative connector as to not let the battery die, the issue is that the warning blinker lights turn on a random times, there can sometimes go days where it doesn't and other days it does it 5-6 times.

Furthermore the warning blinker hazard/blinker lights doesn't seem to be affected by the hazard button as pressing it doesn't turn it off.

Have you tried checking if the relays are still in good condition? Search the fuse box for an exactly identical relay. Verify that the duplicate relay works (such as honking the horn). Now simply swap the suspect relay and the duplicate relay. The relays may be seated tightly in the socket, so pull firmly from the base of the relay itself. Once the relays are swapped, test the system of the suspect relay.

The relays are still in good condition, can there be any other reasons as to why  the warning warning blinker lights turn on at random times?

If they are working properly. If they are fine, then it may be possible that there is some sort of wiring issue that has occurred, perhaps an electrical short somewhere that is causing them to come on. Another possibility could be an issue with the turn signal or hazard switches themselves, perhaps internal faults. What I can suggest you and for your safety have a mechanic check or diagnose your car.

My mechanic has looked at is multiple times, but when using a "tester" on the car nothing reports as faulty. If it is a wiring issue how would I go about finding the faulty wire.

Just to be sure have another mechanic to check your car. It is not bad to ask a second opinion for another mechanic. :)

Okay, is there any information or possible solutions I should tell the mechanic beforehand?

Just advise the mechanic what the issue. Advise them to check for some faulty wires and double check the relay if still in good condition. Advise them that you suspect that there is a faulty wire somewhere and you can't trace it.
