My operating system is windows 7 ultimate.I am having difficulty in deleting some pictures and videos from the windows media player library.When I right click on a particular picture or video and select the option to delete nothing happens.I need to delete them permanently from my laptop to free up space on my laptop.Please can you tell me the correct step by step procedure to ensure the pictures and videos I want are deleted completely from the library altogether

first open folder options and select show hidden files, folders and drives

  • Click on the Start button. This is the small round button () in the lower left corner of your screen that has a Windows flag on it.

  • Click on the Control Panel menu option.

  • Click on the Appearance and Personalization link.
  • Under Folder Options select Show hidden files and folders
  • Click on the View tab. Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
  • Click on Apply

Once done follow the steps below.

Go to Start - Type Run on the Search box - Type %appdata% on the run window - Open Microsoft - Media Player - Delete the playlist saved on your computer
