2011 BMW 535i xdrive trunk will not lock. Opens with switch on trunk lid when in Valet mode as well. Fob and inside door button work like they’re suppose to. It’s just the switch on the trunk lid that’s not working.

Hi Carl,

Check your armrest compartment and there is a switch there. Put it to unlock position and see if that will fix your problem. See picture below.

Try to reset the system by unplugging the negative source of the battery for a minute then plug it back. Check the issue again.
