My battery went dead. I replaced it but my heater/ac fan will not run on any speed. It lights up but won't come on. Could this be caused by the battery going dead?

Hello Kenneth... Thank you for that information. How are you doing?
There are two things I suspect that's why blower is not working. It's either the blower motor resistor is bad or the blower motor itself needs replacement. Battery being dead has nothing to do about the blower failure. They just fail at any given time Kenneth. I strongly suggest that you have the blower motor resistor checked physically by a qualified mechanic and the blower itself. The blower motor resistor is also called "climate final stage blower motor resistor".

I believe you'll be good after checking and replacing the affected parts Kenneth. Hope this helps. Is there anything else I can add or help you with? I'll be standing by for your response.
Thank you
Relly
