Look the car history is so. This car was from a company. And the owner of the company die. The second owner go live somewhere else from the island, and he goes with the keys and lost them. But the car had motor problem. A mechanic did repair the motor but hadnt the keys to start the vehicle. They sold it to a guy and the guy try everything to start the vehicle but couldnt because of the immo. Then i bought the car. I did mess with the ecu try to wipe the immo from it and i did start it only 1 time and i did run it like 10 meters, then i turn it off because the altenator was bad and it was draining the BAT and from there it did not start again.

Hello Raijoel

How are you doing? At the moment I am suspecting that the battery is failing that's why it's not starting. If you have a good battery on your garage or if you can borrow one from a friend you can try to swap it and check if it will start. Yes, the alternator can be bad that's why it's not charging the battery but the battery can be bad as well if the alternator is good but the battery is not holding charge. Please let me know what happens after the battery replacement. Hope this helps. I'll be standing by for your response.

Thank you

Thank you for that information Raijoel. Since it has a new battery and it's not scanning. Do you happen to have a junkyard near you where you can get an ECU for this car. The chipset and capacitors can be faulty that's why it's not running. It's like the brain of the car that commands everything in it to run

Its not the ECU. The wcu is a brand new one. And it did start my brothers hilux but not mine.

Thank you for that information Raijoel. Have you replaced the crankshaft position sensor? The crankshaft position sensor monitors as a multifunctional sensor used to set ignition timing, detect engine RPM and relative engine speed. This sensor negates the need for manual distributor timing. Below are the symptoms of a failing crankshaft position sensor.

Symptoms of a Bad or Failing Crankshaft Position Sensor
  • Issues Starting the Vehicle.
  • Intermittent Stalling.
  • Check Engine Light Comes On.
  • Uneven Acceleration.
  • Engine Misfires or Vibrates.
  • Rough Idle and/or Vibrating Engine.
  • Reduced Gas Mileage.

Since we don't have engine codes there's no way we can detect it but to consider the closest possible cause of the issue. Let me know what happens after the replacement.  Have a good one!
