Hello!
I have HTC Hero with Android 2.1 OS and i have a notebook with shared AdHoc Wi-Fi network. I've tried to connect my Hero to this network but i'm failed... it just don't see any network. I've test it with open network from Free AP in my office and it connected successfully... also i’ve connected other netbook to my home adhoc network and it’s work fine. How can i solve the problem?

Android OS till 2.2 doesn’t support adhoc by default, see issue discussion:

But there is a hack in wpa config - you can patch your HTC Hero with ad-hoc patch from here:
