It seems it is not connected to a Wifi Network,
DO you have a working Wifi NEtwork available?
There are working wifi networks, the kindle is just not connecting, and yet it was before.

My phone is not working properly at the moment, that's why i am using e-mails. The wifi name is BTWIFI-WITH-FON and the wifi password is katanga05.

Ok First I need you to check on your kindle.
Go to the Settings and go to where it says Wifi or wireless, check there if you see your wifi name and if it says connected?
If not try connecting it to the Wifi and and let me knowhow it turned out.

Hello Sir, I have connected to btwifi-with-fon but the orange light is only 1/4 of the way up, even though it says connected. When you go any further it just says---unable to connect to wi-fi network.

Where do you see the orange light?
Also Can you try restarting both the Kindle and Wifi?
This should reset if there is any conflict between the 2 this is the most common.
You can restart the Kindle BY
Hold down the power button on the kindle Until it ask you about powering OFF, Then proceed to power OFF
Once Its OFF Hold the power button down until you see the Kindle logo and it should turn it self ON.
You can restart the Wifi BY
UNplugging the router's power and plugging it back in.
Once you did both go back to settings and check the status of the connection again and try reconnecting the kindle to the Wifi.

The orange light is at the bottom tip of the btwifi-with-FON. It is now saying ----obtaining IP address, i dont understand what that is. it is now saying----verifying registration status, it now says server response has run out. Now it is back to Amazon Account info, and now it is saying -----no network connection which brings it back to square one. it's going round in circles. i am very frustrated i cant even get youtube on it anymore. Do you think this thing is out of date or too old to work?

Try repeating the steps I gave you. try to be as close to where the router is at.
Restart the router box again
and try reconnecting.
Please Let me know if it did work or made any changes.

When you check the Kindle's settings / Wifi /wireless
Does it say your wireless name? This will let us see if you failed to connect to the router or you're connected but not getting wifi data.
I dont quite understand what a wireless name is. i can only notice the wifis ----btwifi-with-FON, bswifi, bthub5-pm9q etc. Where will i get this wireless name from?

Wireless Name is the name broadcasted by your wireless router.
in your wifi settings you should be able to see if you are connected to the router or not
Example:
Kindle connected to "Charlie's-pc" wireless name
The wireless name i can see is BTWIFI-with-FON,which is in the wireless section
Does it says you're connected to it?
when you try connecting to it what does it say?

If it does say connected,
Can you try opening maybe an internet browser on your Kindle or other feature that uses internet and see if that responds?
