  1. Go to My Apple ID Reset My Paasword
  2. Select “Reset your password.”
  3. Enter your Apple ID, then select Next.
  4. Select “Email authentication” as your authentication method. Select Next.
  5. Apple will send a password-reset email to the primary address or verified rescue address associated with your Apple ID.
  6. Open the message and select the link to reset your password.
  7. When the My Apple ID page opens, enter and confirm your new password, then select Reset Password.
