Hello Stanley

How are you doing? Hope you are well. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the negative battery connector of the car and let it sit for 5 minutes or more before reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get it back to it's normal operating state.

If the problem persist then there must be a problem on the hood switch or door jamb switch. It may be thinking that it's open that's why the alarm will go off every once in a while. Below is what the hood switch looks like
