Here’s some of the checks I have in place when deciding whether or not to accept a connection request.

  1. profile includes a headshot and not a stock image or logo.
  2.  headline is professional.
  3.  especially your headline is free of typos.
  4. have at least 500+ connections. More than anything this tells me you didn’t just throw up a fake account this past week.
  5. have a completed summary section sharing a little about who you are.
  6.  profile is relatively complete.
  7. engaged with one my posts or with me on another social network.
  8. not promoting yourself 
  9. profile is free of suspicious inconsistencies.

When you look at the first turn on LinkedIn the name of the person appears on top and you click on that and then their page comes up I don’t know if there is such a thing as a URL

Yes the url was http://linkedin.com/in/kiefer-william-dempsey-sutherland-0677a8a9  .All th informatrion including the experience was a copy paste from Wikipedia

Solution Implemented: call customer| check member and url address| member pretending to be an actor| very few connection and only has one endorsment | skills are not related to the real person| provide info that it is not a legitimate account| accepted answer
