Iput a new trans valve body in and had nissan install the software it was fine for a couple of weeks now im getting a p0776 code. Pressure control solenoid B preformance stuck off.does that mean that this valve body is defective. Also when i received valve body it came with a beveled rubber washer and a small o ring i could not find a location for o ring so did not install could that be my problem?

Hello Carl

How are you doing? By the way, may I ask the exact year and model of your Nissan? When you put the old valve body out do you notice an o ring that you are referring to? I'll be standing by for your response.

Thank you

Hello Carl

It's good to hear back from you. Here are the causes of this error code

P0776 NISSAN code possible causes

- Low transmission fluid level

- Dirty transmission fluid

- Faulty line pressure solenoid 'B' valve

- Line pressure solenoid 'B' valve harness is open or shorted

- Line pressure solenoid 'B' valve circuit poor electrical connection

Please check on this things first Carl for it may resolve the issue. If incase that the fluid is fine and the harness / electrical connections have continuity and not shorted then the problem will be on the valve body itself. If it came with the warranty then you can have it replaced. If not, then the pressure solenoid may require replacement as well. Valve body even when new could fail and I know that for a fact. Sometimes I can have them replaced by the supplier, sometimes not. Hope this helps and please keep me posted.

I'll be standing by. Have a good one!

Thank you

Relly
